Swimming Instructor

Teach the American Red Cross Swimming Program. Work directly with children of all swim levels on a daily basis. Assist with all waterfront activities as assigned, including lifeguard duties. Help develop and implement swim lessons geared to the ages, interests and abilities of campers. Monitor safety of children and staff in pool changing areas. Swim Instructors should be certified lifeguards and should have current certification in CPR. Interested applicants should contact Oasis headquarters. All instructors must participate in four days of training before camp begins as well as pre-camp trainings in their concentrated areas.

Kitchen - Assistant Chef

Assit in supervising and coordinating all back-of-the-house operations and personnel, including food preparation, kitchen and storeroom areas. Hires, discharges, trains, and evaluates back-of-house personnel. Purchases or requisitions food items, supplies and equipment. Plans or participates in menu planning and food production and apportions meat, vegetables and desserts, as well as food surpluses, to control costs. Assist supervision of food preparation personnel to ensure food adheres to standards of quality to maintain cleanliness or kitchen and equipment. May meet with clients to plan special menus.

Enrichment Instructors

Plan activities that give Children the Opportunity to participate in activities that are both recreational and educational. Facilitate activities that give children a sense of accomplishment that comes from mastering techniques and completing project. Use group management skills to engage all children in daily activities. Enrichment activities consist of Science, Nature, Martial Arts, Cooking, Creative Writing, Yoga and more. Enrichment instructors must have some previous teaching experience and/or expertise. Instructors must participate in instructor-based training and four days of all-staff training before camp starts.

Maintenance/Support Staff

Keep site clean, safe and functioning. Set up equipment, water stations, coolers and keep all camp spaces well maintained. It is preferred that candidates for this position have a valid driver's license. The Maintenance staff position requires participation in four days of all-staff training before camp begins.

Counter server

Responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers. Greets customers, takes their food and beverage orders, rings orders into register, and prepares and serves hot and cold drinks. Assembles food and beverage orders, checks them for completeness and accuracy, and packages orders for on-premise or takeout. Collects payments from guests and makes change. Maintains cleanliness of counters and floors.

Camp Counslor

The Camp Counselor is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing core and non-core programs and experiences for children in a small group setting. They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group.
